We are conducting a Basic Pistol Safety Class with three certified NRA Instructors for those interested in obtaining a Connecticut Pistol Permit

NRA Basic Pistol Safety Class
To Benefit Our American Legion 4th District
We are conducting a Basic Pistol Safety Class with three certified NRA Instructors for those interested in obtaining a Connecticut Pistol Permit. Proceeds from this class will be used to support OUR Community and Youth programs.
This is a full day interactive class which will include classroom training, demonstrations and live fire exercises. At the completion of the class, you will understand how the different types of pistols and revolvers work, what it takes to safely operate and clean them and you will practice what you learn in the classroom at the range. At the end of the class, you will receive a certificate of completion which is required to apply for a Connecticut State Pistol permit. The permit gives you the ability to purchase and carry firearms and ammunition in CT.
When: Saturday, 25th of October, 2014
Where: Windham Fish and Game, 267 Jerusalem Road, Windham CT.
Time: Begins at 8:00 am till 4:00 pm; please arrive by 7:30 am to check-in.
Donation: $125.00 per person ($50 to reserve space – non-refundable, $75.00 paid at class, cash or check only)
Included: All class materials including NRA Basic Pistol packets (textbooks, exams, certificates), firearms, ammunition and refreshments (coffee/donuts and lunch).
